The price, the sound, the projection, the ring are perfect. Except one thing why I only give 4 stars for this E string, it is easy to corrode.
If you don't have acid sweaty hands, then it suit perfectly on you.

Blends very well with Dominants. I've tried the Dominant, Jargar forte, Obligato gold plated, and Evah Pirazzi gold plated E strings. None of them blends with Dominant GDA as well as Goldbrokat. Sounds slightly fuzzy though compared to the other strings, but better than sounding too bright.
Still whistles, but not as easily as gold plated strings.

Amazing quality at a very low price. I've tried a dozen E strings, even something priced at ridiculous $15, and this is the cheapest, yet the best out there. I'd say the Evah Pirazzi Gold E string is also a high-quality string, and maybe adds slightly more richer overtones, but the Goldbrokat projects even more than Evah Pirazzi Gold, and you can't beat its price.

The Goldbrokat E is my E of choice. It is a great choice for anyone in search of a loud, clean, but not overwhelmingly bright E. It is a standard steel E, so it has the slightest tendency to whistle if bowed improperly. It is good for bringing out the brilliance in a set of strings.
