One of the best strings I've tried. They're Warm and have a good projection. They don't sound very metallic when you first put them on like Dominants, so that was a plus.. The e string is a great string, but I usually get a different e string. like a goldbrokat or gold label. My favorite strings out of this set are the g d strings. They sound so gut like.
This is an update since I have a new violin. It's a Robert A. Corsby by Mark Moreland. It's a pretty warm soloist type violin but it can still sound brilliant at times.
Vision Violin Strings are a good round string for this violin. They aren't too bright or too warm, and they project very well. My experience is not like other people. I think they have plenty of character if you put them on the right violin.. What I like about these strings is that they go from a brilliant sound to a warm and beautiful sound that just sings around the 2nd or 3rd week just like the dominants. The sound stays that way until the strings go bad which will then sound dead and lifeless. Trust me, you'll know. I get about 6-8 weeks out of these strings.
E string - It's actually a great string. But I still switch it out for a gold label, jargar forte, or a goldbrokat.
A string is one of the best A's I've used. The only problem is it's not for every violin.
D string is amazing. Has plenty of warmth, but is still able to project without being strained.
G string is warm and doesn't choke in high registers. Probably my favorite out of the set.
Overall I love these strings. I love the price of them. I wish Dominants costed the same as these.
1. G and D outshine the top ones.
2. I love the change in character these strings undergo through . Very warm tone from the original metallic bright sound.
3. You can't really go wrong with these strings. If they don't work on your violin, I'll be pretty surprised.

Prefer this string to Dominants. It has more power, very long life, stays absolutely in tune most of the time, projects well but has plenty of nuance and great bow response.

First things first: These strings are really bright. They sound almost as harsh as pirazzis on my violin. But my violin is bright so they may work for yours. Very short break in period.

These strings lack character for solo playing. They do not have the complexity or loudness. Even though they feel pretty loud on their own they do not "cut through" when needed.
Visions, however, have some good points:
1. They are very even across the spectrum. Some high end strings can not claim that evenness.
2. They are a joy to play. Very easy on the fingers, with good response.
3. They can be pushed "above and beyond the call of duty" and will not change pitch. These are some of the most resilient strings to hard and powerful bowing.
I feel these are extremely good strings for a student on any budget. I do not know how long they last, but they let you do every technique on this planet and they sound balanced and even (very important when doing technical exercises). Phenomenal for double stop practicing, as lack of overtones and undertones brutally shows pitch errors.
Very good for orchestra and chamber playing. They let the violas cut through (no muddy undertones), while allow far greater dynamics then some strings three times the price.

These are better that the Titanium Solo on my fiddle. They are not as bright, and seem to be more of an in between to Dominants, and Evahs. The strings feel great under my fingers. They are very smooth, and polished.

I always buy the full set, and have used them for 4 sets now over the past 2 years in orchestra. They wear evenly, are good on the fingers, great quality string for the price. They tune up here in the middle of a humid summer within an hour and will hold their tune reliably after the first couple of hours. They sound fine with whatever rosin I happen to find including magic rosin, bernadel and andreas. I play on a violin made in 1985, and these are so far the best strings I have used.
