Charm strings could be a good contender in the string market. With their low tension and VERY low price it seems that these would be perfect for any orchestra student or even a professional looking for a warm but focused sound. Once settled in they deliver rich dark tones on the G and D-strings and nice bright singing tones on the A and E-strings.

I feel that I have to write something after trying the new marketed string brand "Charm".
They really make my violin sound much better than before. The sound is sooo POWERFUL and RICH!!!! Nice balance among the 4 strings with a unified sound color.
The next thing is to see how long this amazing profile could maintain since I just put it on my instrument last week. If it could last longer than Dominant, with the so very not expensive price, it would be the best news for violinists in the past 10 years!!!! Can´t wait to see.

The "Charm" violinstrings made by For-Tune have a very colourful and brilliant sound. These strings feel somehow like gut strings, they are very flexible in handling and in sound, but at the same time they have a very clear and focused sound and they are really easy to play. I like them very much, really a discovery among the synthetic strings!
