This e is one of the better gold ones out there. It has a sweet, bright tone with a good amount of power. The lifespan is ok but the price is high. Not my first choice but a good string.

I like the Evah Pirazzi set, but without the E string. It's just plain - nothing really special.

The E string is amazing! Responds very well on my violin, especially in higher positions. I absolutely love it! And the gold color was a very nice touch.
