Coming from Dominants and Tonicas, putting on Vision Solos was a wonderful experience. They ring they're responsive, they project effortlessly. It's high tension and bright to so have to want that to like these strings. These are not mellow.

The E is best avoided. A good matching E for this set is the Westminster 26.

For those that found the vision titanium solo a bit too brash, Thomastik has created a great alternative: the Vision Solo. Like the other members of the vision line, it features a modern synthetic core with a quick response and reasonable string tension. These strings are a bit more complex than the ti solos but balanced tonally. For someone who uses dominants, they are brighter and more complex. I used these for quite some time on my current instrument. They are relatively durable. (even for me. Very corrosive sweat plus practicing 2-8 hours a day makes me go through many sets of strings.) They are worth a try if you like the ti solos but find them a bit overbearing for your instrument.
